The Rice MBA deadlines for applicants targeting the full-time program at the Jones Graduate School of Business are below.
Prospective Rice MBA students should note that their materials must be submitted by 12:00pm CST on the date of the deadline.
The Rice MBA admissions team conducts its application review process in three rounds. International applicants applying in Round 2 should note that they may receive a final decision up to one week later than U.S. citizens.

For candidates planning to apply through the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, the 2022-2023 Rice Jones MBA deadlines are October 15, 2022 and January 5, 2023.
Required Materials
The application must include unofficial copies of all academic transcripts and GMAT, GRE or Executive Assessment scores. Official copies are required for enrollment. Applicants must submit a one-page professional resume, two professional letters of recommendation (unless one is from a current direct supervisor, in which case only one is necessary), responses to essay questions, and the $200 application fee.
Fee waivers are available to United States military personnel (active duty or veteran), Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) MBA Prep Fellows, Forté Foundation MBALaunch members, Fulbright Scholars, MD/MBA dual degree program applicants, Rice University alumni, prospective students referred by alumni through the Build the Class program, and prospective students who have met a recruiter at an MBA fair or event outside of Houston.
How Does Rice Jones Conduct Interviews?
Interviews are by invitation only. In-person, on-campus interviews are encouraged, however, applicants outside of Houston may choose a virtual interview with no penalty to their application.
